This is not the optimal way to level professions, it’s the way I level them while also trying to make as much money from vendoring items (or disenchanting them). It is definitely longer to level but it should generally be worth it.
Tailoring & Enchanting Together
To start this off, first you pick skinning from the intro quest (Pelt Collecting For Beginners) and Tailoring. You want 20-40 light leather to help with leveling of Tailoring. Buy a Skinning Satchel and Skinning Knife from Trade Supplies vendor (25+10copper), farm up skins and Linen Cloth. Sell Ruined Leather scraps (or if you want to really optimize, pick leatherworking and make them into light leather, then abandon it for Tailoring).

This is how your Tailoring window looks when you learn it.
We start crafting Bolt of Linen Cloth until it becomes yellow (25) and green (39/40). Should take 40-42 crafts (80-84 linen cloth).
If instead you want to craft linen bags, it is recommended to wait until 39, as Linen bags at that level are still yellow.

With 40 bolts of Linen Cloth (deduct the ones for the bags, 3 per bag, 12 for 4), we craft Brown Linen Robes (best VENDOR value) OR Heavy Linen Gloves for most items to DE (Disenchant for Enchanting materials).
As this guide combines Tailor & Enchanting, we go with Heavy Linen Gloves, 20 of them to use our made Bolts, or you go to 60 skill for now. Your bags should be screaming at this point.

After you craft your tailoring gloves, you learn enchanting (don’t forget to unlearn your skinning by pressing the big X in the profession panel – K).
This is how Enchanting looks at level 1.
In order to use anything enchanting related, you will need to make this Runed Copper Rod, but thankfully, for Disenchant, you do not need it. Open the profession panel again (K) and find the Disenchant spell, time to work on those gloves.

I disenchanted 21 gloves and this dust and essence is what I got. Disenchanting also raises your skill in Enchanting up to 25. Once you finish disenchanting your gloves, go back to Tailoring vendor and we continue. Put the enchanting materials in the bank for now.
Bonus points, you can make more gloves and raise enchanting to 25 via this method (you should be a few off).
Tailoring: Continue making Heavy Linen Gloves until they become green or grey (green is low chance for level up, grey is NO level up!)
Mining & Blacksmithing
Skinning & Mining
Skinning is the easiest gathering profession to grab at start. It requires you to own a Skinning Knife and to skin any fully looted beast type enemies. It scales roughly 5 skill points per monster level.

To obtain your Pelt Collecting for Beginners book, you need to complete one of the quests in the beginning in your starter area. Skinning knife (and reagent pouch) are found in one of the vendors (usually Trade Supplies vendor!) in the starting area as well.
Alternatively, you can always train Skinning from a nearby trainer too.
